For the second
year, the Wyoming Cavalry and Western Vista Federal Credit Union
have teamed up to help raise money for the Wyoming Medical Center
Foundation.
A donation of
$25 is made to the WMC Foundation each time the Cavalry "Kick-Off"
to their opponents during the 2009 home games. $500 has already
been made for the WMC Foundation - after just two home games.
Last year
the Cavs and Western Vista contributed $2500 for the season.
A special
child is chosen as the evening's TEE KID. After the Cavalry
kick-off, the TEE KID runs out onto the field and pics up the tee
and salutes the crowd. TEE KIDS are chosen by the Foundation and
have benefited by one of the Foundation programs.
A special
recognition of each TEE KID and their special story is announced
during the pre-game ceremonies before each game kick-off.
The Wyoming
Medical Center Foundation's mission is to keep the community
healthy through programs, such as safe kids and the Angel's
Program.
