Safety Rocks in Glenrock
Safety awareness ROCKED Grant Elementary (Glenrock, WY) on
April 30, 2008, at the Safety Rocks! Event, hosted and
conducted by the Glenrock HS Marketing class.
“This was a great experience for our students,” said Glenrock
High School Marketing teacher, Gina Kidneigh.
Wyoming Cavalry players and Custer converged upon Grant
Elementary at about 11 am…first stop – the cafeteria to
eat with the students – everybody’s favorite, chicken
nuggets were the day’s delicacy.

Next, on to the
playground for some "old fashioned" fun.

|
Safety Rocks activities were broken down into three categories:
1) On the Bus;
2) Crossing the Street; and
3) On the Playground.
|
|
|
Custer participated in the "Game Show".
|
|
Event winners were given FREE tickets to the Cavalry's May 1
game. They were also recognized on the field during half time.
“The players and Custer had a fantastic time,” said Director of
Business Operations, Argeri Layton. “Gina and the students did a
great job in organizing this event, and they have been a
tremendous help to us over the past two games, as they’ve helped
us out in production.”
